ok, i got a question that goes into this too. I"M putting a second batt in back with my amps and i'm planning on having it running paralell with my one up front. I have a 300 amp fuse on my main bat and iwas going to put the same on my bat in the back. I have a buss bar and i'm planning on having the +'s and - terminals meet there with the amps on the bar, am i planning this right? if you can follow it, cause i lost my self. haha

this is shown using 2 runs of power from front to rear so thats y it says 2 fuses in each location front and rear if your using just one run of wire you only need one fuse in each (front rear) location

Im doing this too, But if you ground batt2 to the truck frame, where do you ground the amp?
