micb Posted June 16, 2008 Report Share Posted June 16, 2008 Time to change! My BSBPV500 Plate amp (500 WRMS into 4 ohms). This is was Sub Number 1. - Single REaudio SR10 in a Low Q sealed 1.0 cf box. Now I use Sub Number 2. - Twin RE Audio SR 10's in 2.6 cubes tuned to 25hz. Yes it my low tuned box out of the car but rewired to 4 ohms! I now have the 16-25hz output I was looking for! :love: It is at least 6db more efficent then the single sealed 10! My saying: "A boom a day keeps the hearing away." That is a old pic of the rack while I was sorting the wires, the silver DVD Payer have been swapped for a PS3. Amplification: Denon AVR 1802 as preamp and powering rears. Rotel RB 960BX bridged to center (180 WRMS) Rotel RB981 Bridged to each Floorstander (360 WRMS each) The speakers are Mission M7 Series. Projector is Hitachi PJ-TX300.
