Toxiccasper Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 Well my girlfriend wants a little bump in her car, so I was thinking just 2 12s, but Im not sure what I should get. I dont want anything that is going to take tons of power because the electrical isnt going to be upgraded so I was thinking like maybe 2 12 inch type Es or 2 12 inch Type Rs depending which would be better for no electrical upgrade. Also the amp cant be too expensive either, but I am open to suggestions.

Personally I would go with th typre r's of lvl 2's with a 500-700 rms monoblock. Toxiccasper Posted July 9, 2008 Author Report Posted July 9, 2008 yeah im building ported in the trunk Ill probably go with DC since they have better quality and are better priced, either level 2 or 3 but I dont know if the stock electrical would really like 1200watts for the level 3s?

Rusty can asnwer your questions about the efficiency of the lvl 3 and which would be right for your application. Toxiccasper Posted July 9, 2008 Author Report Posted July 9, 2008 Ya I have already sent him a message, and this equipment isnt going to be getting pushed hard or anything What do you think about for a Hifonics Brutus BXi 1206D for the 2 level 3s? and getting the dual 2 ohm for the subs so I could run them at 2 ohm and get about 900watts?

I doubt you will get 900 watts with stock electrical, but should be enough to push those subs. are you going to port through rear deck? or face forward and seal from the trunk? lots of options depending on the car.
