The "best" box is probably going to be the one you build yourself. I'm sure most here will say the same. Are you dead set you want a prefab box?

Current Setup:

Factory HU with LOC

mids/highs-Insignia components

Sub- E8 in bass tube

Amp- sae-1200d

Show Setup:

HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony)

fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps

rears- Infinity Kappa coax

mid/high amp - Autotek 5600

Subs - 2 RE SE 15's

Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D

Box - 5cubes sealed

Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0

no not dead set, but my trunk is pretty small and i wouldnt be able to fit a box much larger than the one mtx gives you.

and depending on which would cost more, to buy the loaded inclosure or to buy the subs seperatly and have a box made.

If you have the tools.

Building a box will cost you $40.

About $125 if you have someone else build it. (This includes cost of wood and materials.)

say 40 for wood, nails/screws, and wood glue.

another 10-15 to get wood filler and make it all uber smooth.

5 for sand paper

and then 10-$$$$ depending on how you want to finish it. If you smooth it out, spray paint will work good.

so 40 for a "wood box" that sounds good

60-100 for a well finished and clean looking box.

directly from MTX, i dunno but i would guess expensive. Its a lot of money for those subs, don't wanna talk you out of them but are you set on using that specific sub? its a pretty good sub, just a little expensive in my opinion. "sonic electronics" had them at a decent price last time i checked.
