Also some pumps that are mounted in the tank use the gas to keep them cool. Low on gas = pump in the air and more likely to overheat.

what i was saying is that when u left your tank empty out, you pull up all the grudge and shit at the bottom of the tank. thats one thing that cause the hoe to break down. bad for everything if you do that, including the internals in the engine.
