These are great SQ sub cones, Ive used them many times. They are a slight undersized on surround mounting, so they are more meant for stamped steel frames, or PA style alum frames

The 10" has a 2" VC opening, and about 1 good easy 1.25"-1.5" xmax ability

These are REAL carbon fiber, they do conduct electricty, so you would need to shring wrap the tinsel leads

The 12" have a 2.5" voice coil opening, all the same specs both operate best with about 25-35hz fs

The rubber surrounds are easily removed with a little bit of heat, so you can use the surround for other cones, or use different surrounds on the carbon fiber cones...

I also have about 25 aluminum domes that work with these cones perfectly....

These items are for the die hard speaker tinker'er, or even a small company that wants to do a run of carbon fiber subs at a budget

I have 200+ carbon fiber 12" cones

and about 25- 10" cones

I want to sell these for about $7.50 each for each 12" cone

or $5 for the 10" cones

1 box of 100 (2 boxes and some extras avail) 12" cones for $250 OBO

all 12" CF cones for $350

Alum domes $5 each, these are spun aluminum, high quality, light thick, and durable

Megalomaniac has a few he bought from me :db:

and used them on his SI 12"

If you were to buy these from a factory, factory direct they would be well in the $15-20 each range, not to mention you would HAVE to buy a min of 100 to even 1000 pieces

these pics are a lil old, but they are the same

BTW, the VC openings CAN be cut to accomodate larger coils, like this one for a 3" coil

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
