Im not trying to start anything all i know was a knowledgable person ran that amp and it went into protect 3 times within i believe 20minutes while playing music. I believe he was doing a review on the amp. He said it put out monterous power and signifincantly improved #'s versus another amp around same power but didnt like it at all for daily. ive ran mine for over an hour strait, was only warm to the touch....my subs on the other hand were a bit smelly Quote My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
~digital~bass~ Posted July 20, 2008 Report Posted July 20, 2008 yea i run mine every day...its never went into protect and ive got down into the 11's...i have given my amp abuse, and its never given me ONE problem..plus my 2kd puts out 2200 at 12.5 volts, thats a good bit of power considering i idle at 13.7-13.9and yes dollar per watt is nice, especially since my 2kd will put out over 3k watts (at higher voltage)....give him a pm you wont be diasapointed So you clamped it on a reactive load blah blah blah and thats how you got that #?
