benz280se Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 i have a power acoustic ptid-4003 http://sonicelectronix.com/item_10112_Powe...+PTID-4003.html head unit. yesterday the usb playback started acting funny. when i plug in the player it reads the files then when i press play it plays the files but no sound comes out WTF? everything else works fine cd, aux input, dvd, etc. just no sound from usb input i have no idea what is going on, anybody have experience with this? or have any ideas how to fix?

Like a different mp3 player? If so and they dont work either, I'd return the thing and try to get another on and see if it does it still. My Videos AQ + AA/Fi FTMFW!!!!!
benz280se Posted July 17, 2008 Author Report Posted July 17, 2008 naw i haven't tried any other usb inputs cause that's the only one i have. i guess i could borrow one and see what happens. and i can't return the player cause it's over a year old and i got it while i was on leave in new orleans last year. i knew i shoudl've just spent the extra money and gotten that jvc unit.
benz280se Posted July 17, 2008 Author Report Posted July 17, 2008 well i got it to work for now, i forgot there's a little button called "reset" hit it a couple of times then it started reading fine. i'm still gonna replace it as soon as i can come up with some cash lol.
