Jcoleman134 Posted July 20, 2008 Report Share Posted July 20, 2008 My friend's having a problem with his computer. he restarted his computer the other day and when booting back up it said he was missing a file. he said the file was windows/system32/hal.dll. he said then that he tried to reformat and had problems but it finally worked and when he was finally able to get to his desktop again he started installing his drivers and he had to restart and he had the same problem. anyone know what might be wrong?
