etaks_crew
I know the make kits for my Jeep. I've found some nice stuff. I've also found some 22's or 24's (prolly the 22's). But I was told that the big rims mess with the four wheel drive and can cause thinking to break early, is this ture. I live in michigan and would put the stock rims and tires back on(damn salt). Has anyone heard of this or am I being BS-ed.
droopy89
The extra weight of the bigger wheels and tires will put a lot more stress on the 4wd components than the stockies would, thats for sure Quote 1997 S10 EC Whats in it 106.9 Sq.ft. 2001JeepGrandCherokee
well, I have stock rims with 35lb tires on them(off road tires) they have no problem at all. altogether they weigh about 45-50 lbs. Should be fine, just keep the drive line as straight as possible.
