Way down the road (1-2 yrs) when I finally decide to paint this thing. What color should I choose? I really want to do solid black rims and my first ideas were either gloss black or a dark candy red.

What say you? (edit: and the rims will be 24"s . . . but am going to match them up with the paint, so I want to get an idea to go on)

i say candy red or maybe a silver pearl. you don't want black man its hard to keep clean and veryyyyyyyyy hot

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

I'm feelin ya on the black. Esp. since I live in Louisiana. Not very smart on my part to head that route. I'll look into some different stuff. I don't know if the two-tone would look too good on this truck or not (which was what I was considering for my last truck).

If you are planning on painting in 1 to 2 yrs now is not the time to be thinking about paint. There is a lot of other thing to take care on it.and in that amount of time your mind will change alot.I had a s10 that i kept stripping the paint of and repainting all within a year and half ended up selling it in primer.
