infkt Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Ok I've had a DD 9515 for a while now and its always been on a poopy amp. Now i just got me a DD Z LV and with the gain,bass boost,and head unit sub level at 0 i don't clip but on some of the lower frequency's like 30 i can if I'm not careful. the box is 4.85 cubed and tuned to around 41 with aprox 8350 watts at 1 ohm at 14.4 volts and 57XX at 12 volts Should i tune my box lower so it can breath at the lower frequency's? or do i just have to be careful?

If you want to play 30 Hz really good you need to tune your box lower then 30Hz. If you build it, db's will come...
