raytard
ok, spent a bit too much time at shows and noticed everyone with the loud systems was rocking the whole 3 or 4 way setup for highs with one of those titanium bullet tweeters, a 6.5, and an 8 or 10. 8/10 isnt going to fit in my doors as they are now and the 6.5's are keeping up pretty well, so i started looking for those tweeters to get the highs up. first thing i looked at is the apex catalogue, http://www.aapexonline.com//aapexwebcatalog/index.htm, tw-30 or tw-60 are the ones i always see, there like 19 and 29 bux respectively. I noticed most people had beymas, o2's, powerbass, etc ones though, looked those up and....http://www.usspeaker.com/beyma%20CP22-1.htm and http://www.usspeaker.com/beyma%20ast22-1.htm, if you dont want to click through, 149 and 229 respectively for the same tweeter(well, the higher end one has a grill on it and says beyma, but big whoop). th o2's i usually see just shy of 100 bux, and powerbass L-3H retails at about a hundred. wtf? how are all of these companies using the same speaker just slapping a sticker on it and selling it at nearly 10x the price in some cases? who would really go out and buy the same speaker with the same specs from a company like beyma when they charge 249 bux for a 29$ speaker? its not just me, right, these are all exactly the same, ive had them all in my hands at one point or another and cant feel, see, or hear a difference Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
