Need Some Sub Help

OK, So i have a dual 2 ohm sub and when I check each coil they come up around 2.1 ohm. I wire the coils in series and check it on the dmm and get nothing. What is going on is it blown. I noticed it because my amp would go into protect every couple seconds and figure i need to fix it. Any advice or you know what is wrong let me know

so ur powering everything in ur car off the stock alt bat and a cap?

u do have a higher resistance than usuall... should be 1.5 if you read each coil... so it should read ~3 in series

so each coil on dmm measures 2.1...

what do they read if you wire them in parallel

could be alot of things

Oh no have h.o. alt and extra batt, and I had to take out BTL. so it is only JBL 755.6 JBL 10" sub. and int. speakers. Each coil reads 2.1ohm. and in series or parr. it read 000.0. The 10" JBL is old and probably blown just thought it was weird
