Can someone please tell me how much port area two 4 inch ports would be? I'm buildiing an enclosure for my new setup, 3 cubes net with external ports. Looking for 36-40 sq. inches tuned to 38hz.

4/2=2

2^2=4

4*3.14=12.56

12.56*2=25.12sqin

which supposedly is equivalent to 50sqin slot or square ported becuase of the decrease in port velocity due to the flared flanges

13.71" with flare for 2 4" aeros for 3cuft external port

It depends on how deep the 4" ports are. Need that info as well.

They will be external so they can be as long or short as needed to achieve 38hz. Not 100% sure what you mean by how deep they are

Round ports do use the same formula as square ports for overall port area. 3ft net sounds like a box for a single 15. What kind of sub, what tuning, and how much power are you going to be using?

13.71" total length including flare for 2 4" aeros for 3cuft external port.... 25.12sqin port surface area

3 4" aeros is all ull need if you want to up the sqin more... prolly dont need to unless ur hard set on high tl scores

those 35s sound good tuned lower also

I would do three 4" ports.

That would work I have three brand new 4inch kits already that I was gonna use for an older build. So would it still be 13.71'' for 3 of them and also is that from flare to flare or just the center section?
