Decaf Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 so long as the sub and port arent firing opposite ur fine so sub up port back or sub up port forward will be ok sub up port back would be best *the only problem with re calc is it doesnt account for the subs displacement... so when using re calc... use the same outside dimensions.... but shrink the box enough to account for the subs displ and this will tell you what the tuning will be or i could help ya if you want also Quote
Decaf Posted August 31, 2008 Report Posted August 31, 2008 let me jump in and ask a question what if you do have the dimension of the ported box and specs of the sub still yet how do u tune the port the length the port goes into the box determines the box tuning along with the cross sectional area/port surface area.... the longer it goes in the lower the tuning also Quote
