Krice420 Posted August 31, 2008 Report Share Posted August 31, 2008 hey i just hooked everything up today and i tryed reading the voltage of my strapped sundowns 3000ds and its reading 0 at my master. so i hooked my speaker wires up and turned the car on and i got the 1 second squeal out of my subs then nothing.....? need help guys not sure whats going on here. btw my amps are not in protect and have not popped any fuses. Krice420 Posted August 31, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2008 idk these are brand new rcas but the ones i used from br out to br in are old. also how do i check the voltage to set gains i keep getting zero. do i hook the neg to the postive of the slave and the pos to the pos of the master? Krice420 Posted August 31, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2008 alright so i realized that my slave is going into protect. went and got some new rcas still same thing. redid all my wires still protect. so i unhooked everything and hooked it up to just one amp and it played fine. Krice420 Posted September 1, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2008 (edited) tryed both amps both work sep. took those rcas back and got the rockford dual twist and now my amp doesnt go into protect it or my speakers make a high hiss sound i have no idea whats going on. ive gone over my wiring countless times and everything is right. ima email sundown hopefully hell hit me up tomorrow.
