amp for my btl(s)

now in my case since I'll have 1060amps of fuses on my amplifiers; Instead of doing 4-1/0 runs....Imma do 3-runs of 2/0 welding cable with 3-400amp fuses and use 1/0 Knukoncept Kolossus wire from my batteries to my amps. If that gives u a good idea of what Im talking about

thats what i was gonna do that knuconcepts 1/0,so i do 3 runs off the battery to the back,my amps have 300 amp fuses so could i still do just 2 runs of 1/0 and what about the stuff of having just as many runs from alternator to battery?

ok u say 2 sub amps that have 300amp fuses each and 1 amp for ur highs and mids that will have a 100amp fuse. OK. This is what u do thats 300 x2 + 100= 700amps worth of fuses....if u do 2-300 amp fuses in 2-1/0 runs that will only be 600amps and u need 700 or better. What I would do is 3 runs of 1/0 with 3-250 amp fuses in ur case. U do 3+ and 3- runs of 1/0 from ur alternator to ur front battery. Then from (between) ur front battery to the rear batterie[glow=red,2,300]s[/glow]; u need to have 3+ and 3- runs of 1/0 with 3-250amp ANL fuses. Then once u hook those runs up to the first "REAR" battery....u need to have 3+ and 3- 1/0 wires between each one. Then u run ur amps off of the last rear battery. So if u have 3 rear batteries u run ur amps off the 3rd battery. U'll need whatever wire each of ur amps will take with the correct size fuse that it takes between it. And there u have it. But remember U will always gain more use from a extra alternator than a extra battery. So if u get everything in there and its still losing voltage.....dont go running out and buying more batteries.....go get a second alt first. Because u dont get volts from a battery u get volts from ur alternator so if u think about it.....it makes alot more since to have a decent number of batteries with 2 alts thand to have 1 alt with a slue of batteries.

so bascially i run 3 + and 3- runs of 1/0 and 250 anl fuses,would 300 be to much,and i run 3 + and 3- from the alt to the battery so i'll have  12 runs of 1/0 on the front battery right just to make sure i understand, and then i do all 3+ to the first battery in the back and all 3- runs to the back battery,and 3 runs of + and - to each battery meaning 3 postive from first back battery to 2nd battery and so forth until i'm at the last battery and the + wires off the last battery fuse them with 300 amp fuse before the amp and can i ground my amp to back battery or would chassis be better

boom!....there u go....exactly what I was talking about. But u say u want to use 300 amp fuses instead of 250s. I wouldnt do it. Simple because u have a total of 700 amps worth of fuses on ur amplifiers. If u do 3-300amp ANLs then that will mean u have 900amps of security and thats 200amps over what ur running...meaning.....if something ever goes wrong up front then its a good chance ur fuses wont blow like they are suppose to because u are so much over. U have 700amps on ur amplifiers, so if u do 3-250amp ANLs u'll have 750amps which is only 50amps over which will be closer to what ur running in the rear. The only time Id say do that many over is when u have to...like in my case I'll have 1060amps worth of fuses on my amplifiers and Im doing 3-runs of 2/0 with 3-400amp fuses which is 1200amps, I'll be over by 140amps but in my case I have to because of the odd number of fuses that Im running. Oh and u said that thats a total of 12 runs....na, its still 3-runs u'll have. A run is just what it is, a run...no matter how many breaks it has in between it 1+ and 1- is 1 run. Now if u do all of those runs and fuses....With a few Kinetiks then u'll be straight....Id still upgrade that alt because the one u have isnt gonna cut it...u'll need atleast a 260amp. I say 2-220amps will do it with power to spare. But if money is a issue then Id just go with 1-260amp Iraggi with a Kinetik HC1400 under the hood with 3-HC2400s in the rear. No need for a huge battery up front because u'll need 90% of ur power in the rear with ur amps.

ive found terminals with dual 1/0 outs how am i supposed to make so many runs off 1 battery,and 3+ and 3- off the alternator

U can do regular battery terminals and use wire ring terminals that screw on. Or if ur using Kinetik batteries; U can use the wire ring terminals like I said and the posts screw down on top of it. Kinetik batteries have screw on posts.

These are the wire rings I was talking about...these are a lil smaller so they would screw onto the side of a battery terminal. U would have to find some with a bigger hole in order to do it like the second way I described using the battery post to hold all of em down.
