Im looking to get a exhaust for my truck. its a 2000 s-10 with the 2.2. does anybody kno wat size the factory exhaust pipe is. and if there any cheap exhaust out there that would sound good ... thanks

Its probably 2-1/4, i wouldnt waste any money on a cat back, pick out a high flow cat if you even want a cat, and then pick a style muffler that youll like.

My opinion is to go with a high flow cat and a turbo style muffler, that will give you a real smooth deep tone unlike chambered or glasspacks.

you can go with pretty much any muffler and it will sound better than factory, but you have a 2.2L and they never really sound that good.

and if you have the money do the cavalier intake swap as well. it will make a drastic improvement in sound and performance.
