I want it for dd and be able to tune high for comps.... Keep in mind that you don't want to fight the vehicles freq. meaning my box is tuned in the 30's peaking at 41 hz hitting my best scores yet. I tried tuning it up and got crappy numbers. Boon Posted September 12, 2008 Report Share Posted September 12, 2008 Ports don't ALWAYS perform best in the middle of a panel. In fact you can achieve some pretty funky stuff by loading the port off the inside of the box as often the corners are the places with the highest concentration of pressure. Or will it just not sound good ? Or do I just scrap this box and start over? Thinking I might be able to use it as a one note wonder box if I find the right note ?
