does it make a difference if the ports stick out 4 inches. we made a box for 4 15 in a chevy 05 impala taking the back seat out. were using the backseat and trunk as one box. we used 3 pvc pipes 6 inches and 22 inches long. we couldnt flush mount because the port would end up going in the throat. what do u guys think.

No it dose not matter if the port is in or out of the box. It is almost better if it is out of a box cause it will not take any displacement out of the box. But it is very inconvenient to put the port on the out side. but yes it is fine to have the port stick out.

If your going to upgrade your power to 0 then do your ground to. will help alot specially if you upgrade your alt.

what happens if u run o guage power wire from batterie to trunk and instead of running ground from the battery up front to the trunk why not just ground it from the battery in the trunk?
