Why dont you hit up craigslist for some crappy 12's for around 50 bucks or your local autoparts store and spend 40-50 bucks on that.

It's not like your putting fix a flat in a tire knowing your getting new shoes in a few weeks. You taking from your budget and when you go to build your system you'll be looking at 200 bucks you wasted and can't put towards what you want.

I know all about not having beat and wanting it. I sit here in my computer room looking at 16 12's on the floor. Hell, I don't even have a stereo in my truck but instead of blowing money on a "get by" system, I save for what i really want.

thx for the advice. ill c what i can find for like $100 bucks max. im just so impatient, i need to exercise some discipline. Thanks again for keeping me from making a mistake i woulda probably regretted.
