I have some experience building boxes, but i haven't built a box with subs up and port forward. Im not sure how to go about tuning it like this. Im running 4 kicker L7 12's off of a zx2500.1.....and im not liking the box design that i currently have. Right now i have 14 cubic ft. with subs up, port up in my expedition....and i feel like it should be louder. Also the subs are getting a little smelly, so i think that it might be too much air space for them since we built it a little over kickers recommended airspace for a ported enclosure per sub. here are my max dimensions: Max Dimensions: 43" wide 20" tall 36" deep/long. I want it to be tuned somewhere in the 34-35hz range, and be around 12 cubic ft. after displacement and bracing.
