caddylac
First off all I blew one off my subs. I built a box for the 2 12s at about 4.0 cubes ported at 33 hertz. I wanna get some fi btls I will build a bigger box later in the winter but will they at least works in that box for now
Boon
How much power do you have? You're only going to have about 1.7 cubes or so per sub after displacement so you'll need probably 4kw between them or they'll just burn the coils due to insufficient movement. 10.x volts fo' life! RamenNoodles
2 cubes per BTL is no where near enough room for a BTL. That might be alright with a 12" but after displacement. And you will neee around 3k rms with a smaller enclosure because it will act as a sealed, not letting it move as much so more power will get it moving. You dont need a lot of power all the time on a BTL though, you can use it as a daily system. I just turn down my amp during the day which cuts the power draw of the amp since you are feeding it less voltage. Its when you send a lot of power and its not moving much is where there can be problems.
