MXmike800 Posted October 3, 2008 Report Share Posted October 3, 2008 I have a jbl 1201.1 powering 3 alpine type r 12 4 ohm dvc i have them wired to 1 ohm going to the amp. i read the amp isnt 1 ohm stable. does anyone have any experiece with it jbl says it will push 1339w at 2 ohms. after a little bit my type r will start smelling like the glue is burning and my dustcaps heat up they arent smoking hot but you can tell there a bit warm. any suggestions Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
