it regulates voltage, it doesnt do anything but add a burdon to the electrical if you cannot already power your stereo. look at it this way, caps are very fast dischargeing, during constant bass after the caps supply of energy is gone it is trying to charge itself while still trying to power the amp. so its actually harder on the electrical. IMO caps are a waste of money for how much they cost, you can get a decent battery and its way better then a cap for around the same price.

i hwould have to agree...caps are craps...

like said they just spit power instead of in a steady current. i always do this comparison, a cap on your electrical system is like putting a bandaid on a bullet wound. its gonna help SOME but very minimal
