ptcary Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Not sure on the components, but I had the 5x7/6x8" mids in the factory rear pillars in my PT before I built the wall and they sounded decent, but they were midrange only, no tweeters. Seems to me if you are looking at the DS line from kicker, that you can get a decent price on them by scouring the web or maybe even eBay. If you are willing to make a wooden plate/adapter, you can also get a 5 1/4 or maybe a 6" component set into a 6x8 opening.
