IH8PunkRok Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 probably yea. u could hard wire a power inverter into the system. mold the housing for the sub somewhere then flushmount the amp somewhere convinient so u just see the dials and such. ive thought bout doin it wit a guitar amp b4 -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build

lunari Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 Yes. Take your RCAs and get a cable that converts them from RCAs to a 3.5mm mini plug. Then put an adapter on that to go from the mini plug to the full size jack. Plug that into the amp, plug the amp into a power inverter, and you're done. Getting loud on a budget. Impossible? stuart_goodenough Posted October 7, 2008 Author Report Posted October 7, 2008 doesnt sound to rough thanks for the input ill elt you knwo how it went
IH8PunkRok Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 well its not necessary to hard wire the power inverter like i said but i t makes for a cleaner install. most power inverter u will find have cigarette lighter inputs which are ugly. chop it off find the positive and negative and connect those to a switch (so u can turn it on and off) and voila. now are u wantin to put the amp's speaker in the car as well or use the cars existing system? -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build
stuart_goodenough Posted October 7, 2008 Author Report Posted October 7, 2008 the bass amp is like this something like this so its all kinda one sub and amp
IH8PunkRok Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 aight good. wut i would do is split it (amp and sub) put the sub in a good place and mold the amp into the dash or w/e but thats me. wut ur friend porlly wants to do is just give the amp power and be able to play it in the car. u will only need a power inverter for that if u wanna use the cars existing stereo instead of the sub the amp has do wut lunari said. -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build
