shooter69
Ok, so my right index finger got me into a little trouble the other day. Every twenty minutes or so, I'll get four of five pop-ups about a free computer scan or some sort of virus removal add. I have Avast Anti Virus, so I started scanning my computer right away. I erased a few viruses, but it still didn't fix my problem. I also noticed a little red shield with a 'x' in it at the bottom right of my screen, by the clock. My anti virus found two files that it couldn't move to the chest or delete. So I got the file name and tracked them to my temp internet files. I went to delete the files and it said I didn't have permission to delete them and that I needed to make sure there was enough room on the disk or make sure the program isn't running.....the only problem is...I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me out? Btrash
try booting to safe mode and running your antivirus. Also try running malware bytes in safe mode. http://www.malwarebytes.org/
shooter69
Okay, thank you. How do I boot into safe mode? Quote (1)Fi BTL 15 (1)AQ 2200d 4.33 Cubes~33hz Big Three done XS 1200 in the back
Btrash
Turn your computer off. Turn it back on and start tapping f8 until you get a boot menu. Select safe mode. Viola.
