  1. Isn't that the one where one of his subs started on fire recently? If so, then it was installed by a shop that he had to keep taking it back to, and hopefully that isn't the shop name that he is reppin on his headrests (Sounds Unlimited)......
  2. As if the first one wasn't enough of a joke. Wonder what the specs are on this thing?
  3. Neither of those are the full build log. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=24252 Here ya go :-D
  4. I'm sure he meant "putting out rms". He wasn't shamelessly plugging, he was giving advice.

  6. Depends what you mean by "small". I just got a red top under the hood and it is about 1/2 the size of my factory battery, but with almost twice the CCA. If you need much smaller than that, then you are gonna have to go with a motorcycle battery, although I don't know how much power those have.

    Its Cold Out

Actually the reason you feel warmer when you drink is because your blood vessels expand, so the warm blood is closer to the surface of your skin, giving you that "toasty" feeling. Your core body temperature is actually dropping. All nerdy science aside... DRINK UP, it makes you feel warm :-D
  8. I would think resin as it is harder and is used to help speed up the waves coming out the port (or so it has been said). I would think that the elastomaric would be counter productive against this. To the OP, I would just resin and paint it white with normal spraypaint.... But I wouldn't completely take my word for this... hopefully Steve or somebody else that has a little more experience can chime in and let me know if this is wrong.
  9. Not sure if that is what you need or not, but on a side note.... Won't the rubbery characteristic of an elastomeric coating absorb some of the sound waves?
  10. Canon's are the way to go for quality digital cameras. The SD880 IS has been mentioned. My fiance has the SD870 IS. It takes extremely good pictures, and has good quality video and sound (I don't have any examples, sorry). She researched cameras for months at www.dpreview.com, which is a site that is dedicated to reviewing digital cameras, and she also reviewed consumer reports. You probably want to check out dpreview for some good reviews and find out the pluses of each camera. The SD8xx line can be had from newegg for mid $200 range.
  11. You had to take it back to them 10 times? I would have wised up after 1-2 times and/or done it myself. Time for a new installer.
  12. Very nice craftmanship. A little too busy for my taste, but to each his own. And talk about brand dedication :-D
  13. should have got him this (I can't view youtube at work, but I think that is the right one)
  14. Except for the money you spent on the recone kit...........
  15. Should be KDC-93R. Good luck finding any pictures besides a black and white drawn one out of a service manual.
  16. Couple questions, don't know if they were covered in the build thread. The internet, is that just a wifi card that you have to be near a router, or do you actually have an aircard (or whatever each company calls them) via a cell provider? Also is the nitrogen tank going to be covered when the install is finished? I would be leary of the vibrations of it being situated right in front of the "bass tunnel" like that. Wouldn't want it to go BOOM.
  17. DO NOT overspend. You don't want to be throwing money around trying to impress a girl, trust me from experience especially this early. You could buy her some less expensive jewelry or whatnot, but nothing more than like 50-80 bucks TOPS. Non-diamond gemstones on a necklace from a department store are usually pretty inexpensive and a decent "first gift" for starting out a relationship. EDIT: Like this sort of stuff: http://www4.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptI...862|59113|59121
