tudski Posted October 28, 2008 Report Share Posted October 28, 2008 i got a 1999 alero 4cyl and i installed the sub liek a a week before this problem occured i was thinking that its a loose connection but i cant find it at night i cant see the speedometer cause the backlights wont turn on, nor will the backlights at the shifter to put it in drive or the heat and cooling switches i checked every single fuse and relay i searched all of google nadddaa the problem happened after i hit the turn signal a little too hard 1996 deville on 18" full face rims -2 gauge wire. -a2400db -RE SE-X in a 4ftc box tuned to 32hz -tview touch double din -rockford punch 6x9s(rear) -mtx 6.5(front) front and rear stage will soon be changed build log will start as soon as it aint cold! NoFearX18 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Share Posted October 28, 2008 how would the harness affect the lights? jsut wondering never occured to me It didnt only effect the lights but the interious lights and HU wouldnt turn on. the door locks locked after the keys were turned off (yea the posessed ass car locked us in) Im pretty sure some of the wires were backwards in the HU cuz a shop fixed it within an hour and everything worked except the backlight which is a blown bulb now...
