raytard Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 ^x10 in general, sub/port back is loudest in a trunk sub back port side was real loud in my car though honestly.....sub up port up sucked, sub forward port forward sucked....just move it around and see what happens. banginAltima Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Generally..... back will not be as loud on the meter but will sound deep. forward will be loud on the meter but not sound like it, it will sound like you lost your lows. pointed up seemsto be the best of both worlds... but really...... try for your self, it may sounds different to you, may sound different in the car. If you build it, db's will come... NSPL World Record Holder Trunk 0-1800 watts---147.9 with 1722 clamped watts @ 40Hz(9-20-09).
