Urgent, Need Help With Alt Wine Through System.

Ok, last march I did a setup in my Athletic Directors '72 Corvette and everything came out nice. Amp rack to cover the jack compartment, re-wire HU and hook amp up for some 6x9's in back. Well, he paid me for it and I'm standing behind all my work(like I always do). Well, today he came to me with a question that I couldn't answer. He said that when the car was running and he was plaing music, he could hear a wine comming from the speakers. He said if he reved(sp) the engine the wine would get higher and such. So it went with RPM. My first thought is that that car has a ground right off the Alt bracket and that is causing the wine because he states it does not make a sound when the car is off. If this is the problem, what are my options to fix it? Relocate the ground on the block, Do the big three in 4 gauge(12 gauge power wire was used cause its a really small 2ch amp. And I did use the speaker wire from the deck to get singnal to the amp because it had a High input for that and I didn't want him to spend the money on a High to Low converter.

So in short, I need help wit this problem so I can keep a good rep with the guy so I can good word of mouth advertising.

Thanks alot everyone!!!!

Redo the grounds and make sure they are clean and proper. If it was fine before and now it has noise then something is not the same.
