11.1 volts is too low...lowest I'd say is safe is 12-12.5 volts

the 2volt position on almost all amps is at ~3/5-3/4 gain... if u have ur headunit @ ~75% volume... helps to have a dmm to measure the ac voltage coming out of the amps speaker terminals

everything in the car pretty much runs on 12v or higher... going lower isnt a smart idea
