NvrImpossible Posted December 31, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 31, 2008 Ok. An update on my situation. I dumped the MA Audio and that other crap nd got me a Diamond Audio D1. It fits right in where the old sub was and it has the same exact dimensions. Screw hole diameter, mounting depth, etc. EVERYTHING. I got lucky on that one. And it sounds awesome. Better than the stock for sure. Your wasting your moneythere is a good chance that sub won't sound right in that Yamaha box. There is only so much performance you can expect from an 8"sub in a HT setup. i wouldnt say that. weve got 2 psb subseries 1's, which are 8's. and them things get low and get decently loud. and theyre smooth as hell. they work great for movies and music.
