toolmaker
I have recently found some 10" drivers that I might buy to play around with, but the specs I have on them show a high Qms. From my very limited knowledge, I thought that a high Qms would actually make the subwoofer more prone to resonating or being somewhat muddy. Is this correct? Or am I thinking wrong. Is there any pros/cons to using a high Qms subwoofer. Here are the specs on this particular one: Qes = 0.371 Qms = 13.512 Qts = 0.361 Sd = 0.033 sqM Xmax = 11.8750 mM Vas = 38.0078 Litr Hvc = 31.75 mM Hag = 8.00 mM SPLo = 86.10 dB Pmx = 250W RMS 8 Ohms Thanks. 94' Suburban Kenwood HU RF T3002 2x SAZ-1500D's 2x PG Rsd 6.5's 4x RE SE 12' Kicker Hyperflex 1/0 ...more still to come
