Guest Fi-Beat-Down
Ok i have a drop top 1998 eclipse spyder, and a hardtop the hard has 1-18" fi btl in it and my friend built the box, it will never fit in my spyder.. I don't have the trunk specs yet, but i was sick of blowing cheap subs so i bought a fully loaded 10" Bl. i have a nice stock alpine sub box - vented, with 2 tube ports inside, but its not a square box its angled off in the back,.. its super hard to get it to drop inside my trunk and i question if it will be big enough for the Fi, like I said the box im using is a alpine box, that held a 10" type r.. I need help on building a box that is more longer then it will be deeper so i can drop it in yet get the best performance of the bl. Im a bit lost when i do so specs, so if anyone can help me and really break down each piece i need to cut so i know when i get down cutting it will come together and work, Fs: 40.3 Hz Re: 1.5 Ohms/coil Qms: 5.58 Qes: .44 Qts: .32 Mms: 164g Cms: .95mm/N Sd: 310cm^2 Vas: 12.8 l Spl: 85.7dB 1W/1m Bl: 19.0 N/A Xmax: 21mm Rms: 1000W * Sealed box: N/A cuft Ported box: .5-1.2 cuft @ 30-37Hz Sub OD: 11.000” Cut ID: 9.250” Mounting depth: 6.2500” Displacement: 0.11cuft
