wL<3bass Posted December 19, 2008 Report Share Posted December 19, 2008 these work really well. yes its pyramid but these actually take a beating.power supply They are terrible and I know from first hand experience.....they are really crappy and can't supply 45amps but for maybe a split second before they cut off. what about kinetik's power supply? that thing looks massive Have first hand experience with them specifically the 80A one....have it powering 8 headunits and a hifonics titan at 1ohm and it doesn't even have to try. lance_aka_64 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Share Posted December 19, 2008 (edited) i think the pyramid ones work well. my friend has two boss blx5000's (yes crappy amps but still two of them hooked up to it) hooked up to one for his 18" btl in his room. i upgraded the terminals to 4 gauge cuz they were melting but that thing takes a beating. it does help to have a battery hooked up with it tho. those kinetik ones do look nice tho.
