Guest KyleCannon
I want to run the BTL at 1 ohm.... is this possible since they are .7 ohm or 1.5 ohm coils? If its impossible, what do i need to run it at so i can run it on a T2000-1bd
Mark LaFountain
just get a D2, if the coils are reading 1.5 or higher it should be just fine. Guest KyleCannon
I see.. so if i run it at 1.5 ohms, that means i get less power going to the subs, correct? In that case, I should probably look into getting a T4k Edited November 29, 2008 by KyleCannon
E a r t h
No, the .7 and 1.5, are the direct coil resistance readings if you took a DMM and measured them. .7ohm per coil would be a dual 1 ohm voice coil sub, and 1.5 is a dual 2ohm voice coil sub. If you want to run one BTL at 1ohm, get a D2 version and wire it in parallel.
