I will be running three audiopipe AP-15001D's supposedly 1500 watts rms a peice and a jl 300/4 for mids and highs, as of right now I got 2 kenitik hc600 and a yellow top up front what do I need to make sure I can keep up with the demands of this system I know I need a alturnator but how many amps?

probably over the $300 mark with the alternator, and you need two runs of 0 gauge + the big 3 if you havent already.

Theres 200 amps, but more money, and consider when buying a alternator what is the amp out put at idle vs giving it 1200 rpm, some can be great but unless your driving there still putting out stock amps.

yeh you'll definitely need at least two runs of 1/0, a couple of batteries. i'd pm'd Mechman and see if he has any good alternators for a reasonable price ... preferable a 200 amp to 260 amp alternator ..... something with good idle power.
