CrashHole
Ok, I have been running 2 10" D4 kicker CVR subs on a mtx 421D amp. Today I purchased 2 more D4 10's so I can build a box for 4. I get out my 6500D to try it out on the 2 subs already in the car, and when the bass hits it pops the 30amp fuse on the amp. I figure it must be because the amp is seeing 1ohm. I try only 1 sub, and does the same thing. The fuse pops when a low bass note comes through and the speaker looks like it wants to jump out the cone. Could it be because the amp is pushing the sub past it's limits? I run 1/0 gauge power from the batt to a dist block on the amp rack. I have a 250amp fuse by the battery. I also have 1/0 gauge ground. Any ideas? P.S. All power wires, speaker wires, and RCA's are brand new. Even the HU is new. No matter how hot she is, someone, somewhere, is sick of her shit. 99 Tahoe: 2-10" MA Audio 4-6.5" Kenwood door speakers Total Amp Sony HU

CrashHole
I just remebered last night I popped a fuse on my 421D. I'm thinking it might be the ground myself. I will pull the panels in a bit and check.
