Feedback On Enclosure

I wanted some of the more experienced designers feedback on this. My dimensions are VERY strict so this is about the best i can come up with.

Specs:

6.24 ft^3 after port displacement

~32 hz

98 in ^2 port area (7 wide x 14 tall)

34" long port

This is for two 15s inverted

My one real question is that when you have a 7"wide port to the back then split it off to both sides in half the width (3.5 in my case). You have to double the length right because you have half the area. Like for instance it is 34" long and the 7" section is 12.5" and each 3.5" one is 21.5". So if im correct it is the 3.5 wide sections x 2 gives you the area of the 7" at a length of 21.5 and then that + 12.5 = the 34" i need right?

make the port width smaller and use the entire height

or

make a port on top and bottom... to keep same sqin/cuft

the entire enclosure might not be utlilized by the sub since theres so much below the sub and port

it might "see" or "think" there's less volume, which would then throw off tuning

depends on whether the back of the box is flat or contoured in some way to the vehicle with fg

This shows why the port has to be at the top like it is so the back wall of the cab doesnt interfere too much with airflow.

Or one other option is to just invert the new subs. The reason im thinking about rebuilding is because the new subs have a MUCH larger magnet and mounting depth so they would hit the bottom the box at the angle they are right now. Do you guys think the magnets being up high would interfere a lot since they would be in front of the port if i use the current box?

well can u lower the subs.... make the wall flat, not angled... and do the port like in the pic above... then ud be much better off imo

Appreciate it. Im probably going to just stick with the box now, invert the new subs and see how i like it. To save myself some unnecessary building. If its not up to par in my opinion then i will probably build a new box.
