Shadow Works Posted January 21, 2007 Report Share Posted January 21, 2007 I have 2 alphasonik 800 series 10" they seem to run fine but when i turn my bass up from the nob i hear a huming noise, even when the stererio is off? is this supposed to happen? Ernesto Posted January 21, 2007 Report Share Posted January 21, 2007 What kind of knob? Bass boost knob or an actual bass knob? If it's the bass boost one, don't use it. Humming noise isn't supposed to happen...Only other thing I can think of sounding kinda like a huming sound is playing high freq on your subs I guess. Shadow Works Posted January 21, 2007 Author Report Share Posted January 21, 2007 the amps im using are mtx 6001 class d, there rated at 600 rms underrated and 761 rms tested. so each sub has there own amp ... my subs are a little bit more powerfull than my amp so i wont blow them right?
