Rf P3 12's Box

Hi all, I have been looking through here for a while and you guys seem to know what your talking about and rather than do this several times Im looking for your advice or to tell me if im doing something wrong. Im not looking to win any comps just need some bass to rock with after a days/nights work. Anyway, I am looking to build a box for my two new RF P3d412. I have 40 wide 19 deep and 15 high to work with. Its going in a 07 Saturn Aura. Its going to have the Hifonics zxi1308 or the txi1508d for power. With the stock head unit for now till more funds come in. I used the RE Cal for these specs and want to make sure this will work before I start.

Oh can both subs be in this box or does there need to be a separation between them. I listen to everything from Rock, Oldies, Metal, RnB and some rap. I want clean music that can handle some volume any help or advice would be great. Thanks justin.

im not getting the same... keep in mind re calc doesnt include woofer displacement when calculating vb and fb

heres what i got using the same specs

shrink the width a bit and shrink the port width to 3.5"

when ur using re calc... put in ur dimensions, put 0 in port width and length... then subtract the sub displacement from the width originally put in to account for woofer displacement... then change port width and length to desired size and tuning, this way vb and fb will be closer to accurate

if i listened to mainly rock oldkies metal and some rap, i'd go sealed. sound great on all the tight bass and be amazingly clean imo. and box would be easier to make.

or like everyone was saying go with the box you were looking at and keep it tuned low.

If you go ported i wouldn't seperate the chambers, let them breathe together
