Guest Fi-Beat-Down Posted December 11, 2008 Report Share Posted December 11, 2008 ok i have a drop top <-- see the pic, lol so i have no room, one day when i learn how to build a box that will look like square i may fit a 12" in it,.. until then i have the 10" bl from fi, so i wanted to say i dont even have a foot gap from the cone to the trunks metal skin,.. when iv had to pull the plastic off for more room.. is that ok the cone is facing the rear bumper,.. if that's no good,, should i fire it up or what? idk.. its just a question Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sometimes rear firing is louder, sometimes not, the only way to tell for sure is to experiment. kool, thanks i was unsure because theres no room between the cone and the trunk skin its self, but if i have the sub laying down it will have tones of room,.. iv just heard you need a good gap in between the two, but the again if i have it firing up at the trunk, it will sound like crap with so much rattling and i wont bass just rattle Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
