  1. There is another guy that does some excellent GM tuning. Nelson Performance from San Antonio, Texas. Nelson Performance! Fill out the info form letting him know what you want to do and he will program a new PCM and ship it to you. Once you get the new PCM all you have to do is plug the new one in and ship your old one back to him and your done! No down time! EDIT: This is the owner, Allen Nelson's website, LS1Truck.com Here is a post of an '07 with a 5.3 that he dyno tuned(he can do it if you can get your vehicle to San Antonio). His user name is farmtruc. http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/dynodata/20...v-5-3-dyno.html
  2. Coils on crossovers hot? Most likely too much power and burned them up.
  3. Whats the power handling of the speakers, and what the output of the amp? Its cool about the post, good things come to those who wait.
  4. You only gave 8 minutes between responses. I'd wait a little longer before you get your panties in a wad over nobody replying to your post. Crossovers can go bad, if its melted that usually means its bad. A picture is worth 1000 words. P.S. If you didn't get the hint, post a picture!
  5. So your car gets towed, you go to the yard to pick up your car and you take 8800 pennies to pay with! LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URWkNslcxPM
  6. Guess I'll hop on the me too bandwagon!
  7. If it will block heat like that I should cover my house in it, Damn Texas heat. What benefits does it have when applied to the cabin side of the firewall? How much will it reduce the temperature? Second Skin Be-Cool Mat
  8. Would that work for the sub channel too? Say a T1K transformer? I absolutely love this amp, but more power is always better! Rockford should make a new style power series 5 channel with 100x4 and 1000x1 rated power! ;)
  9. Brand new kicker bass knob with cord and mount. $15 shipped
  10. Would there be a way I could get my hands on some of those parts?
  11. It doesn't look like 5" away from the back of the box. Creyc is right. The actual length of your port(using the 2nd of the 2 sketches) is 29.25" long.
  12. First of all the opening into the box is nowhere near big enough for the port. The rule is that there should be at least 1 port width away from all walls. In your case it should be the height of the port, 5" MINIMUM!
  13. I picked one up for Christmas(still haven't posted my build ) and it amazing. I'm running a set of T162S components, a pair of 4x6, and a pair of P1 10s and it sounds amazing. I'm doing it all off of my stock 105 amp alt and I'm not having any problems at all. It's birthsheet said 106x4 @ 4ohms and 849 @ 1ohm on sub.
  14. I gotsta use the crane to hold the screw while I fly my helicopter upside down to screw it in. LOL But I use some hex head deck screws.
  15. You don't have to have shallows. I have a pair of RF P1 10s down firing under my rear seat. I'm saving up for a pair of SE10s. Broke ass student FTL. BTW I have a 2004 xcab silverado. EDIT: Depending on year model you can fit up to 4 10s down firing. http://www.supercrewsound.com/commerce/catalog.jsp?catId=24
  16. Yea, they don't sell the kit he bought anymore, so I chose the closest thing. I personally have the Hadley bully dog setup on my truck and it's decently loud, more train like than the Honblasters but not as loud.
  17. This is what my buddy has on his '02 Camaro and its insanely loud!
  18. Should pass inspection as long as you still have a cat and a muffler.
  19. Alright, the E8's need 8.09ft for a tuning of 34.9Hz. My design is 8.06ft tuned to 35.05Hz. If you need a cut list or anything else shoot me a PM.
  20. Hey Airborne, is 30" the absolute biggest you can go? I'm really close on the design, but I need a few more inches of line and if I do another turn it will make the length way too long.
