Mechman Alt Not Working/putting Out Power?

The car is drivable witht he fuse blown, sorry that's just exactly what happened to me so it might be worth checking but sorry didn't meant o put words in your mouth bro!

oh, didn't know the factory alt was working. yeah he is usually very helpful so GL on the call!

i mean the factory alt is putting out power. which means it cant be the fuse other wise this one wouldnt work. i still believe it has to deal with the harness......im hoping. im callin him in the morning

What kind of "harness" did you need? Should be a plug and play swap if its for a GM you either have AD or CS which going from a factory AD to a CS is not the best any way its kind of a down grade.(in our own opinion) PM just_rob he will tell you the same thing. Have them get you the correct alt for your factory plug and you should be fine. 3rd times the charm bro please PM him to cause like I said even we sometime only check our sections and just miss questions in other sections about our products. Give them the chance i'm sure they will get you fixed up.

not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.

Didn't see that bit of info any where was going by his forum name. LOL no worries it still should apply its just wrong make / brand car. The harness part still fits my reply.

so since honda is gay and has that 4 pin harness, that was the deal. the one wire that turns the alt on, was only seeing 4.8v. there was another one seeing 12.31 with the key in the "on" position. i resoldered that wire and it should work. ill keep you guys updated. i should be reinstalling it tomorrow after work (4ish).
