zfrerichs Posted February 20, 2009 Author Report Posted February 20, 2009 So i figuered this was update worthy i moved some stuff around croweded before little better but there is still the coil, dipstick, ac hoses, ground, and idler pulley in the way coil off cut soldered and heat srunk wire loom other end soldered and taped then heat srunk new location decent amount of room dipstick ac hoses cleared! zfrerichs Posted February 21, 2009 Author Report Posted February 21, 2009 So i have been very bored latley with nothing to work on or listen to so my alt came from dom like two weeks ago and i was gonna wait till i had the rest of them to put it in, BUT i got bored and said FUCK THAT! lol so alty and temporary( cant spell for sheit) big 3 in 4/0 old alternator takin off it only took maybe five mins little side by side then came the real work i couldnt get the rings hot enough for the solder to melt, so i cut the tops off of them then smoothed them out with a bench grinder and just soldered from the top like a normal ring iraggi installed i love the red coils! but well see how long that lasts lol tomorrow i gotta go find some heat shrink thats 1" this 4/0 is huge compared to 1/0 Roseville, CA
