15" L7 Question

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I am selling my 4 10's to go a different route. I am thinking about a single 15" L7 with my 1000.1 running it

What do you think

No matter how hot she is, someone, somewhere, is sick of her shit.

Well one L7 15 is not gona do it if your a basshead! Also i dont think that amp would be enough to power two L7's 15's. Again thats just my 2 cents. Oh by the way Kicker doesnt make 15 Solo X they never did!

if you are doin that because you think the l7 will be louder than the 4 cvr's, i dont really see that being the case.

maybe you should get 4 cvx 10's? i see more potential in that than one 15 l7. only thing would be powering them...but that shouldnt be too hard.

but if you are stuck on the 15 l7 then go for it....nobody can stop you from doin what you want to.

dont mean to thread jack ora nything, but your saying 4 12" cvr's arent louder than a 15" l7?

lets make a situation, 4 12" cvr's in a sealed box vs a 15" l7 in a ported box

cvrs on 1600 rms l7 on 1k rms

which would be louder? if the L7 would be i think i have to sell my current system (2 cvr's)

if your goal is to be louder while keeping the same amp, then it would depend on the box and install.

i had an l7 powered by a zx750.1 but the box was 6cubes for efficiency, and it was loud for what it is.
