01xtreme Posted December 22, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 22, 2008 Well, I went down to the SPCA today, because they said they were open on sundays, but apparently their website is wrong. oh, well. I plan on going down there tomorrow, and with any luck, I will have me a dog before christmas. I agree 100% with what 2000S10, and Raytard are saying. I really want to give a dog a chance that it probably wont get, thats why I was looking at the ones who have been there longer. Everyone wants a puppy, but it seems like most people dont want a dog that is a year or 2 old, since they are past the cute puppy phase. I think it's alot better to adopt a dog that could use a home, as opposed to buying one from a breeder. I will definately update this tomorrow after I get off work. I plan to go talk to the SPCA tomorrow, and maybe see the dog I want to adopt. Not people, animal, or food agressive. Pit Shepherd mix. I am going back tuesday to adopt him if someone doesn't beat me to the punch.
